It’s Week 7 of the RBD Block Challenge and I had a much better attitude going into this week than how things ended up last week. This week’s block is called Reach for the Stars Block and was provided by Melanie Colette of Hello Melly Designs.

By this point I am realizing that most of these blocks are going to have half square triangles and I am getting better and better each week. I also got to do some flying geese on this block. I don’t have much experience with that either, but I am loving how they come together.

The fabrics I used this week were Storm, Avocado, and Le Creme Confetti Cottons. The fabric featured by Melanie was from her newly released Pure Delight collection. You can check out her collection and more by following her on Instagram @hellomellydesigns.
