October Stitchy Progress

By Anna - October 31, 2024

I finally finished "Pumpkins for Sale" on the 25th of this month. This project has a lot of stitches in it. Although I know there are mistakes that may or may not be noticeable, I am still happy with this project. I'm thinking of framing on a canvas. If that doesn't look good, I'll think of something else. Hopefully the framing won't take as long to complete as the stitching as I would really like to display throughout November to celebrate along with my fall stuff.

I was also able to complete the November Nine Patch, but just like the October one, it needs to be made into a pillow for the dough bowl. This pattern is by Lindsay Weight with Primrose Cottage and is part of a 12-month series that I started back in June. I still have several months to go before I have all of these made as I am only doing 1 per month.
Acorns and Pumpkins
There was one more finish this month and that was one of the chickens for the Lori Holt Chicken Club series that I started several months back. This is Florence. She is no. 2 or 12. These stitch up much faster than you might expect as I was able to do this in less than a month and that was just working on it here and there at night while watching TV. I still need to frame her and once that happens she will get her own post.

Happy Stitching!
