Perfectly Pieced: Lattice Block Pillow

Being from the South, I love cobblers. I happen to stop at a roadside market the other day and they were selling blackberries. I used to pick blackberries on the side of the road when I was a kid and can remember my Mom making jellies and cobblers with them. Please enjoy this recipe! If you don’t like blackberries, you can substitute the fruit with peaches or blueberries and it will still be delicious.
Now that fall is here and winter is approaching it’s the time to start thinking about making fudge. This fudge is rich and chocolatey! It was always a staple during the holiday season when my late husband was alive. It was one of his favorite sweets.
Thanks for stopping by my little piece of serenity. I’m a Tennessee transplant who loves to quilt, sew and cross stitch. I also love reading, gardening and baking. I share my daily life with 2 dachshunds, a tortoiseshell cat and a husband who puts up with all my crazy ideas. In addition, I have 3 grown children and 4 grandkids who I treasure more than anything.
