I had the most amazing trip this past weekend. We are currently living in Missouri and each year from April to October they do what is called the Hwy 36 Quilt Trail. The quilt shops that participate are located off Hwy 36. This trip would take me to seven different shops which would end in Kansas so I could go to IKEA.
The scenery was beautiful. I saw lots of farmland, funny machinery and even some barn quilts. At each shop I bought the block designed by the shop and picked up a few other goodies that I though I couldn’t live without. Eventually I will complete the blocks from each shop and then complete the quilt.
