I have been working hard to get the 12 appliqué blocks completed, but so far I only have 8 finished. Some of these are much more complicated than others, but it has been an absolute joy making each of these. I really enjoy the creation process and watching these blocks come to life.

Once all the blocks are complete, I will add slashing and borders to complete this wonderful quilt designed by designer Lori Holt of Bee in My Bonnet. Lori is truly talented and creates many quilts that are a reflection of her childhood, several of which remind me of my own.
Below are the first 8 blocks that still need to have all the pieces sewn down as Sue glue is all that is holding them to the background fabric.
