This month I started a new cross stitch project, “Pumpkins for Sale” to go with my scarecrow quilt. I didn’t want the cross stitch to be the exact same thing as the quilt, so I picked a different scarecrow to cross stitch. When
it comes to stitching, I can only stitch a few minutes or few hours per day as
I have a full-time job that takes up my day time hours. I have progressed rather well
this month and look forward to completing this in the month of September. Below
is the progress I have made in August.
Here are the first 9 days of this project:
Day 1 |
Day 2
Day 3 |
Day 4 |
Day 5 - The scarecrow will have to be redone.
Day 6
Day 7 |
Day 8 |
Day 9 |
I am happy with the progress so far although I do have to redo my scarecrow as there is a big mistake that I can't "not" fix.
I also completed the following items from Primrose Cottage Designs. These will eventually be turned into pillows for my bread bowl
that sits on my dining table or used on my tier tray.

I Would Rather Bee Stitching from Primrose Cottage |
Last, but certainly not least, I completed this pattern also by Lindsay Weight with Primrose Cottage that is part of the Nine
Patch 12-month series. I started these back in June and have tried to complete
each month before the first of the following month, so it can be displayed the
entire month. I still need to get it made into a pillow which is what I am doing with all of the Nine Patch patterns.

Sunflowers and Crows - not what I think of for September, but it's still cute! |
Happy Stitching!
