I started working on this quilt a few months back hoping that I would update my progress each week, but I am the worse when it comes to keeping up with a blog. I have good intentions when I start, but then I let life get in my way and I never stay consistent.
This quilt was my first Lori Holt endeavor and I can honestly say I am hooked. I love this quilt and cannot wait to start on another one of her designs. I have already bought everything for 3 more quilts and purchased the reservation kit for the project that starts in January 2023. I have no idea how I will finish them all, but hopefully one day I will be able to complete them.
As I said I had wanted to document my progress along the way, but since I didn't take photos all along the way I am just going to share the my final pics with you.
It measures out to be roughly 70" x 90". I had to hang on my wall to get the entire thing in this picture.
Below are close ups of different areas of the quilt.
For directions and sew along information from Lori Holt, visit her website: https://beeinmybonnetco.blogspot.com/ where you will find all of her sew alongs and wonderful information to help you create beautiful quilts.
I still have to quilt and bind, but I'm waiting on that task until I feel more comfortable on my long arm quilt machine as after all this work, I don't want to mess up the quilting part.
