One thing about making a quilt top is that eventually you will want to actually quilt it or have someone else do it for you. I'm one of those people that do it myself, but it always takes me many months after the quilt top is completed in order to actually put it on the longarm machine and quilt it. This quilt was no different. I completed the Paper Hearts Bee Dots quilt back in March. It was a quick quilt to make and one of the quilts I really was pleased with how it turned out, but the procrastination in me kept putting off doing the last step. It's not just the quilting that I have trouble doing, but I also hate to do the binding on a quilt.
Well this weekend I decided this one had to be done and after finishing I was glad it was done, but boy did this one give me hell. The thread broke I don't know how many times, the quilt wouldn't line up when I moved it up using drag and drop, the tension was an issue at one point and list goes on. This is one reason I hesitate to do this step because there are always issues with doing it. My husband says if I would do this step more often I would get better at it and the problems would become fewer. He's probably right, but don't tell him I said that...lol!
So without further ado, let me present the completed Paper Hearts Bee Dots quilt!
